Professor Doutor João Mota de Campos †

Born in Braga, in 1927. Law Degree from the Faculty of Law of the Universidade de Coimbra, he is a lawyer since 1950, and has a Doctoral Degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of Strasbourg. He is a Cathedratic Professor in European Law and author of a large collection of books on European Law and International Relations. While a lawyer, he practices several areas of law, being specialized in European and international Law. He was Secretary of State for Agriculture between 1960 and 1962; Minister of State and the Plan from 1971 to 1973 and Minister of Agriculture and Commerce until April 1974.
